PERSONALITY
Rudolf Campbell does not define himself by his humanity. There is no relation. There is also no comparison. He is not a god, nor is he the same as the common rabble. He is also not better than the throng.
He also does not regard society with any sort of worth, whatsoever. Their lives are worth less than the dirt that they place their weight onto. He remains apathetic to their existence, including the lives of those close to him. His allies, his emperor, his faction, they don't matter. Their fickle lives will most likely flicker out momentarily anyways.
He maintains an unexpressive disposition, probably doing an all-around awful job of hiding his perpetual exhaustion. His tone is monotonous, and you'll frequently find him silent when you would surely expect a response. While unexplained at this time, he possesses an apparent loyalty towards the emperor and the fire faction.
Rudolf generally comes across as an especially serious and impatient young man, in a hurry to complete his mission and report his success. However, you'll find that he can't help expressing kindness towards friends and acquaintances, and even occasionally towards strangers. He'll share his food and supplies, and even risk his life to save an undeserving teammate.
BIOGRAPHY
Koichi — as he was previously called, recalls an extremely dull life before his death. His first memories were of a hospital ceiling. In fact, he grew up in a hospital. His existence was wracked by illness, and he was allowed to leave on very few occasions. He had no individuals close to him, and his education was provided remotely, but mostly through books.
For years, Koichi prayed to any god or lord to end his suffering. He simply wished to live a normal life. On his thirteenth birthday, Koichi grew so restless that he left. He had no memory of the parents he'd only met a few times, and he didn't care to. He simply needed to depart his suffering.
However, his prayers were answered upon departing the hospital, and his body, no longer being kept alive by machinery, ceased to remain with the living.
Koichi was then summoned before emperor Ivo Aurum, and bowed his head immediately. While the others he'd been summoned questioned their arrival and surroundings, Rudolf stepped in line. He'd been provided the opportunity to live a healthy life, and regardless of the circumstances, he was thankful. Rudolf was now a hero loyal to the Fire Faction, and he would be for the foreseeable future.
