PERSONALITY


Ikaros is a Hero. Or rather, that's how he envisions himself. Being revived in a fantastical world like out of video games and storybooks is a chance to live out heroic and chivalric fantasies that never quite faded as childhood gave way to adulthood. He always strives to perform as well as he's able, and in pursuit of such can be prone to overthinking things and indecision. However when it comes down to it he's actually a bit gullible, easily and equally swayed by heartfelt stories, promises of grand adventure, tangible rewards, and the fulfilment of more mundane earthly desires. Rejecting a pretty face is especially difficult without other factors in play.


BIOGRAPHY


Death comes for all men, sooner or later. Unfortunately for Piers, it was more along the lines of "sooner", cut down in his prime. He isn't actually sure quite how he died - memories of the old world become more and more vague and nonspecific every day he spends in Odendum, but he's quite certain he was healthy enough and avoided needless risks to life and limb. Still, something happened, and now here he is...in a body quite a bit more youthful, vigorous, and powerful than he possessed prior, though his looks are basically unchanged.

Having been convinced by the pleas of the Wind faction's leader to work for her cause, he decided to change his name in this new world, because his old one wasn't dramatic and heroic sounding enough. Thus was Ikaros Stormrage "born" - a reminder to himself to try not to let the excitement get to him, and stay level headed, but not to be lazy either. Fly too low, and the ocean mists will weigh down your wings. Fly too high, and your wings will melt to send you plummeting to your doom.
